definitely earthling. everyone else can be all the crazy stuff they want. when the plain old vanilla earthling comes around and kicks their asses because I actually know what to do, they won't have any excuse when yemma asks them what the hell happened.

think about it, what do other races have that's so great?

saiyan: zenkais require you to be injured near to death. meaning you have to actually risk dying to gain a little bit of power. ssj requires you to get really strong, and then put yourself into a critical situation. again, 9 times out of 10, that situation is risking death. there's a reason super saiyans average about 1 every 1,000 years, you know. your tail is a weakness attached to another weakness. you basically have a second groin shot target, and once a month you will go berserk if you stay up too late. no one know how to control oozaru, and vegeta definitely won't tell you. training your tail means actually subjecting yourself to repeated and continuous tail torture.

namekians: regeneration. great racial ability when your in a situation where you might lose a limb, but guess what, those situations are usually the ones you want to avoid in the first place, dummy. fusion: yeah, i think I'll fuse with someone else, and actually alter my personality, changing Who I Am, just to get a quick boost in power.

Icers: born with high power? check. have to suppress into weaker forms because you can't control said high power? check, double check, and check one more time.

majins: well, you can absorb people (which changes Who You Are), and you can turn people into food (I can do that too, it's called an oven), which you'll need because of your insatiable appetite. plus, you have this neat little regeneration, that doesn't help you one bit against people who are actually more powerful than you.

earthling: High dormant ability. wow, a trait that has no drawback, is universally useful, and doesn't require you to risk your life to get access to it, you just need a few months of good old fashioned training to start benefiting (or a stroke inducing rage, if you're in a hurry).
Yamcha and Krillin make me not want to jump on your bandwagon, hahaha.

I'd go Saiyan so I could reproduce. Namekians can't, and who would even want to do it with an Icer or a Jinn?
well, namekians can spit up eggs, and at least some namekians can modify their children when creating them.

as for icers and jinn. final form frieza and buutenks/han were both hot, but i don't think they can breed with humans.

@yamcha and krillin. you know why the humans were so much weaker than the saiyans? they didn't take the same opportunities.

goku trains with kami: the earthlings train with korin, finish his training, and instead of climbing the power pole to kami's, they go down to earth and just travel around, training on their own.

goku trains with king kai: the earthlings are just now getting kami's training.

goku does gravity training: the earthlings are just now getting king kai's training, and NONE of them learn the kaioken or spirit bomb (although tien's Neo Tribeam may have elements of both in it). they never do any gravity training afterwards.

saiyans use the rosat: earthlings pass it up.

if the earthlings had actually done the same things as the saiyans, they would have been just as powerful. but plot induced stupidity ensured that they stayed weaker than the saiyans to the pont of being nearly irrelevant.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god
